STOP MOTION RESIDENCY
This series of workshops create an environment where students work with creative digital tools, supplied by the teaching artists, allowing them to explore and expand their age-appropriate reporting, storytelling, and language art literacy skills. Using an artist & / or school-defined topic, the students will turn informational essays, short stories or personal poems into moving animations.
STEM turns into a STEAM experience for all students who, regardless of their artistic confidence, learn to create movement with drawn elements and found objects.

VIRTUAL
STOP MOTION CLASSES
Learn to create stop motion animation virtually. Our virtual workshops use the same interactive and creative approach and our inperson learning workshops. We encourage connection through sharing and engage students in social emotional learning in the online environment.
The program transitioned to offer virtual learning in mid 2020 and the end results were nearly identical to animations created in the in person classroom environment.
